Not that one specifically but we got through a 5L mini keg of Burnt Mill Pintle last weekend and at no point did I get tired of it.

@rhb Bourbon barrel aged Buxton! It's here again: https://www.buxtonbrewery.co.uk/beers/limited-edition/single-barrel-rainshadow-bourbon

That sounds like quite similar stuff. £25 for 5L seems like good value so I’ll take a punt

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks to be 3 versions this year, dreamland.

Yeah excited about the Rye too.

I feel like they are begging for a back to back (to back) tasting session, but at 12%, the third one could be paint thinner and you'd enjoy it!

This was really good

I think I would feel like I could walk through walls if I drank three on the trot.

Bozhe moi - some of those are 16+% ABV...
(And, though I approve of the theme, it looks like about £80 to get the set.)

Seen some Mikkeller tins in my local Sainsbury’s.

Is it me or is there a trend of double IPAs becoming insanely malty?
I poured half a can of Polly’s away last night because it was too cloying. There’s been a few others recently that have been on the verge.

Had this at the first Craft Beer Rising and have been buying it ever since. Random connection: it's named after 'The Wolf', Alexander Stewart, who burnt down Elgin Cathedral. My ancestor was the caretaker of the cathedral. It's a lovely dark ale aged in Glen Moray casks.

La Chouffe is nuts. So many places have it on tap here in Amsterdam. It's like putting MDMA on the snack menu.

People, Money... from Verdant is one of the best session beers I’ve had. Incredible flavour for a beer of that ABV

Just had the food shop arrive. Basic bitch stuff, but this makes me so happy.

What's the Wiper and True like? Don't think I've ever had any of their stuff.
Picked up a Fuller's imperial stout and a couple of 2020 Vintage Ales, though this year that feels a little bit like tempting fate; just hope there's no recall because of a rope infection or something....

from that lot the tropical delux was naff but wiper and true and the boxcar porter were excellent!

I'm storing my 2020 Vintage separate from the other vintages...

This stuff, since I decided to be glutenz free, is my go-to knock the edges off at the end of the day.
Fucking pouring it though.....
Checking the beer cupboard, it looks like I've still got a couple of bottles of the Marble/Fuller's Gale's prize old ale in there (the Bourbon and Barbera barrel bottlings), so might try those instead.
