I don’t think I’m ready to entertain this idea yet... what a nightmare...it’s making me feel a creeping dread mixed with anxiety. I had assumed we would be ok once a vaccine was found but the picture is so much more complicated.

Seems it is more complicated but a vaccine would still be a massive gain, and it could possibly allow us to start from just a few novel cases and with better preparations. Keep optimistic.
