I haven't been on since we played together the other day. just couldn't be bothered to attempt to try and rush through ranked to get to plat this season, I hated doing it on WE in S5, doing it in KC in S6 was even less fun, everything else was just going through a holding pattern.

excited for the new season though, got my coins ready for the battle pass and looking forward to rinsing the new map.

Spent most of yesterday on Twitter seeing if anyone had heard from Microsoft about Series X orders. Saw some people saying payment was being taken or that they’d received an email last week to make sure details were correct. I hadn’t had anything so was a little worried. Have a pending payment on my credit card from Microsoft as of yesterday evening so that’s a positive haha. It’s going to be a long week I think. Haven’t been this excited since I had to wait for my birthday to get my Xbox that I knew was sitting in my parents wardrobe.

Yeah, they weren't the best team and if we would just kill them and won the game, it would be just another win.

But with the knock down rez, it was much more fun and exciting :)

yeah, only way to improve on a gold rez comeback is if they try to finish you and the zone kills them.

To follow up on my earlier reply, Overcooked 2 is currently half-price and both Overcooked 1 (+ DLC) and Worms WMD are both 75% off on the Nintendo e-store at the moment. Screencheat is also down below £5 and looks like a great local multiplayer game.

Anyone on here seen these killbet things that are happening on Twitch (probably also other streaming sites)?

I was fine with the kill-race betting that was happening previously when it was players vs players in the same game, but now it's players against their own chat/viewers betting on x amount of kills in y amount of games, unregulated all through paypal - seems a bit off?

I thought it was bad streamers making more money off viewers (some of which probably aren't old enough to bet) but it's almost gone the other way now with people taking a lot of cash off the streamers!

There's a game on at the moment with £2.3k on the table and they're doing them game after game after game....

Pretty much - the viewing is on Twitch, the platform has nothing to do with the betting. The streamers organise the bets via their chat (at the side of the stream) and everyone send the money via paypal.

People set a challenge eg 92 kills in 2 games (meaning total amount of kills the team achieves in two games)
The odds are always 2:1 so if viewers bet £10 and the streamer wins, the streamer keeps the £10. If they lose they pay the viewer £20.

It certainly makes the games mean more but is a bit dubious on morals/legality!
