can you not still download GPX files of routes, without having premium? or 'create a route' from someone else's route, and then download the GPX from 'my routes'?

There definitely used to be a workaround like this, but I couldn't see the GPX link and couldn't be bothered tracking it down. Might try that another time.

Just to confirm, it's a little fiddly but this still works.
