  • Lovely!

  • I really like your choice of quality retro components. Are you a friction or index cove?

  • Very nice, white with black outline graphics on champagne paint always looks so good.

Also, lovely looking entrance space, Celestion Dittons?

  • What are those hubs and rims?

  • Exciting!

  • Lovely frame, and build is looking great so far.

  • Great build, excellent photo studio as well.

  • Best colour. Excited to see the process

  • Thank you! Friction, Derailleur is only compatible with friction I believe. This is my first proper geared bike to be honest so I'm still learning.

  • Yes well spotted, great speakers for the money if you can find a pair in good condition. Thanks, this is actually our living room, we’re mid renovation hence the floor.

  • Thanks, Velo orange touring hubs laced to Velo Orange Enterprise rims 36H built by VeloDuo.

  • Super nice, veloduo are really nice people also

  • This is looking really lovely.
    Brought this to mind:

which is probably about the highest praise I can muster

  • What a lovely colour. Also stylish choice of components. But isn't the 42-52 with 11-28 going to be a bit tough for touring?
    Looking forward to this build!

  • This looks great.

I will be following this carefully, as I have a World Tour on order which they will hopefully complete before they close.

  • First proper test ride out. Smooth ride after a few tweaks, few hairy moments with DT shifters as they needed tightening half a turn. Haven’t had the patience to have a go at putting the mudguards on just yet :/

  • Thank you!

Probably a bit much, good point. For the immediate future I’m just planning on using it as a comfy road bike that I can do a bit of distance on. But I do plan to do a bit of touring in future. What would you recommend ideally for gearing? Just having a bit more range?

  • Look forward to seeing it. What colour did you go for?

Mine took about 8 weeks exactly, I’m sure they will honour all existing orders.

  • Thank you.

    So much sparkle, lovely bike!

  • Lovely!

  • Very beautiful! Can't wait to see the bike with Honjos installed.

  • I love the frame.

May I suggest rotating the bars down and the levers up a bit. I think it will look and feel better.
And if it was my build I would try and find a less clunky saddle. A Selle Italia Turbo springs mind.

    Otherwise really nice bike.

Edit: actually the saddle looks nice from this angle
