Bump. Am also looking for something similar

XS (and XL/XXL) farm sizes are often ones that end up quite heavily discounted on regular websites so it may be worth looking around.

5'2" means the XS in Genesis should work, but depending on proportions maybe some of the larger Islabikes

Specialized has also been really good about small people sizing lately

Ah nice one thanks all.
@Babyldn that Battaglin is nice but think she's after something a bit more modern and the no rack mounts might seal it - will pass it on though thanks.
Cheers @r_mash - was thinking of young people's bikes but annoyingly no one really seems to make them with double chainsets. But will take another look at Islabikes, everyone seems to rate them and could possibly make the gearing work with a few adjustments.
Grateful for any other thoughts.

i think some of them do ...

Also the new beinn + a new chainset would still fit under your budget (unless there is a strange reason why they can't fit a double)
The spesh sirrus also comes in an xxs

Are you already sorted with a bike?
I have a Btwin Triban 5 with full Shimano 105 r5800. 650c wheels, rack and mudguard eyelets. XS size. Give me a shout if you want pictures of the bike.
Trying to sort a friend with a new bike - she's 5'2" and has never had one that fits properly before. Can anyone help?
Primarily for London, but will be used on longer day rides and the occasional overnight camp.
Ideally she wants a flat bar but is potentially open to drops (is looking at a Genesis CdA currently).
Needs to have at least rear rack mounts as will be used with panniers.
Aesthetically she's really keen on a more traditional tubing style, so ideally steel but essentially nothing too oversized/bendy.
Budget around £650
Does anyone have anything that might be suitable?
Or advice on smaller bikes and where to look?
Any help gratefully received.
