  • This is so great.

  • Plot twist - this was actually done in Blender with full ray tracing & textures

    It's so good though

  • I'm a big fan of the masking tape on the floor method of planning rooms. Looks like I'm going to have to up my game now though.

  • I was listening to talks candidates for a job had to do and one of them said that almost everything in the Ikea catalogue was a render.

  • Punches keep coming, sellers have put the house back on the market.

  • Sorry to hear this, they have to make a move before the stamp duty holiday expires though, so you can understand their position.

  • definitely, can't blame them.

  • We've got 24 confirmed viewings already, TMH told us this morning they had 40 enquiries already so it looks like it's going to be at least that many viewings 🥳

Guess nobody cares about the garden.

  • Fingers crossed they aren’t all tourists.

  • Pray4notyrekickers

  • Grew up just the other side of the A303, East Knoyle. Have cycled home from Bristol up the Deverill valley and over the top of Mere/Keysley Down.

  • @Cazakstan @fussballclub we're googling them and they seem to be a mix of trust fund kids, big tech and high fliers, lol.

Agency are only showing it to people who are proceedable (in estate agent speak), but we only need one anyway!

  • That's good news - we had 50+ confirmed viewings - 30ish showed up and we moved forward with 3 offers (pre SD holiday). Fingers crossed you can create some sweet upward price pressure

  • I found most of ours on Linkedin, its a fun game - one of them worked at my company lol

  • Given that furlough is being extended I wonder whether the stamp duty holiday gets another 3 months or so as well.

  • proceedable

Ugh. Useful concept but horrible word.

  • 2 questions:

Any floor sander recommendations for SE (SE6?). I did them in my old flat, don't relish doing them again.

Has anyone submitted a Building Notice through Lewisham's online portal? When I begin a new application it's asking for square meterage of the proposed extension. I'm removing a load bearing wall, not extending so just want to be sure I'm submitting the correct application.

  • If you're SE6 it's got to be Zen. @7ven is also a fan. If you get in touch with him, do mention that Tom on Braidwood recommended him.

  • I'm a big fan @Trunkie. He's definitely your man! Did a great job with our floors.

  • I wouldn't be surpised.

  • Good to know the sort of ratio that might turn up, thanks. We've got 26 confirmed over next weekend, plus 13 who definitely want to see it but we've ran out of slots for that weekend now. And one request for a virtual viewing from a cash buyer who has just sold her place locally but is currently in Somerset.

They haven't even grammed it yet and the feature went up today but hasn't been promoted, so there's the potential for plenty more I think.

  • Ha, good research. Yeah when we went to book a viewing we had to present our AIP.

  • we did 35 viewings in two weeks. all I can say is... may god have mercy on fox' soul

  • We're doing the viewings too, which is probably lucky in a way as only one of us can be in for them because Covid. Actually, that's not quite true, one of us can sit in the garden...

So suggestions for lockdown activities outside of the home that take up a lot of time gratefully received! I think we're going to split the day up and do a morning/afternoon each.
