    Not really. He’s spent his life pissing off powerful people and being popular with powerless people. If anything ... he bears more comparison with the 2016 (disingenuous) branding of Trump as popularist, anti-establishment. Loved by Firefighters and farmers etc. Both have a devout following.

    Em... so, I don't know. Perhaps they deemed those too toxic... one already got veto'd.
    Impeachment again may have been seen as too risky. Yeah I get it, but it could have cost them the election perhaps so... tricky.

    "Career politician" is one of those terms thrown about that I find too vague, if you see it as "somebody not bought by corporate cash" yeah I'd prefer politicians like that. Everybody does.

    I suppose that is why people liked Trump. Not that he isn't born into big money and all that, that's the bit I didn't get...was sorta really obvious there.
