The Trump campaign’s case in Michigan did not go well. You can watch the hearing on Youtube.

the only problems with Trump's suit, according to the judge, is that it was based on hearsay, brought the wrong party to court, couldn't give names of any of the ppl or locations they said broke the law and the relief sought is unavailable because the counting is over.

Ha, yeah that was the stand out quote for me too

Flicking through this. The whole zoom thing makes it feel made-up. It doesn't help that the lawyers etc can't even sort out a plain white room to sit in

Trump lawyer with the green screen not actually using green screen and Zoom doing its usual thing with non-Caucasian skin tones were a highlight

Is that why the judge fades in and out?
-
• #11708
Yeah, diversity in tech matters.
See also automatic soap dispensers that don’t register black skin etc. -

Georgia = Trump 13000 votes ahead with 48000 votes left to count
-
• #11712
This is getting tense again.

• #11713
Are there some big blue counties to declare results? Because that’s not tracking dem enough
-
• #11714
very much on, I read it wrong. Wow, it’s going to be very close.
-
• #11715
At this pace he’s not going to take Georgia. Could someone authoritatively say it’s all going to work out so I can stop refreshing everything and just take the night off?

Is that why the judge fades in and out?
Could also be down to colour of hair/clothes and if she was moving around a lot. With a background image, Teams can't separate the foreground from the background too well sometimes so maybe Zoom is the same?
But why was Scott there? Did he say anything? I hope he billed Donny at his full rate!

And fox are calling Arizona for Biden.

At this pace he’s not going to take Georgia.
When I first started tracking the lead and the remaining vote numbers for Georgia Biden needed to get 67% of the remaining votes. Since that time (102823 behind, 301000 est votes remaining) he's brought it down to 12835 behind and 50000 est votes remaining.
Those last figures mean he's down to needing ~63%. That means along the way he's been picking up more than 63%.
The question is whether the remaining districts left to declare are similarly pro-Biden in at least a similar proportion. There's no way to predict that from the state-wide data.
(All numbers from the "Which states haven't been called yet?" section of this Guardian page: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2020/nov/03/us-election-2020-live-results-donald-trump-joe-biden-who-won-presidential-republican-democrat )

Page turn ruined attempt at humour.

• #11721
Down to Nevada then?
-
• #11722
Any one of Nevada, Georgia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina will do.
-
• #11723
It'll be fine.
Probably.
(t's and c's apply)

• #11724
Fox called Arizona for Biden last night, even though most other outlets haven't and even now it's still got half a million votes left to count.
It's a probable for Biden, but so are Nevada and Pennsylvania. Georgia is 50/50 and North Carolina is probably lost.

Pretty much, but they’re taking forever to count the last ballots. Georgia is tight as but they’re nearly done and Trump has a lead. Basically this could run for more days yet.
No to building sigils!
