Yep! Extended nursery drop to get some pastries and bread.

First ride in my Brevet insulated jacket today. First impressions are good, kept me at a comfortable temperature for the whole ride with a thin (Ali Express Rapha knock off) long sleeve jersey underneath at about 8°. Didn't overheat climbing and didn't get too cold descending. The only minor issue is that because the two pockets are totally sealed with a zip, they produced a fair bit of condensation, I've just ordered a small dry bag to stop my phone getting drowned.

How is it different from the Brevet Long Sleeve Windblock Jersey? Because I have that and it's been bang on in 8. The jacket is a bit sweaty looking.

I have no idea I'm afraid! I've never owned a Rapha Jersey.
I only had a chance to get a 40km ride in today so not exactly an exhaustive test but with a long sleeve jersey underneath it was a pretty good temperature. It seems fairly breathable so even when I was putting a bit more effort in I didn't get too much of a sweat on, not as boil in the bag as you might think.
I think with a short sleeve jersey underneath it'd be fine a few degrees warmer and with a midlayer you'd be fine a fair few degrees colder. Will report back when I've had a chance to test it out a bit more! -

Also, I'm glad I went for a medium over a small. I've got a fairly broad chest for my height and it's pretty snug in that area.

I actually find it quite warm, was overheating with just a thin SS base mesh base layer in 10deg...
Being able to unzip from bottom is good though because you can cool down easierIt being Brevet insulated jacket
-

It’s quite different. It’s got the polar tec alpha insulation stuff like the gilet so it’s warm, but it doesn’t have a membrane so it breathes well with less wind protection. It’s for when I’m the weather’s cold though rather than mild. Like down
That said I don’t have the wind block jersey, i might get it as you seem to really rate it

I do generally prefer to wrap up a bit more than some others to be fair, I seem to get colder easier and prefer to be too warm than too cold.

For example, I went for a ride with my brother the other day. I was wearing tights, a short sleeve jersey, a midlayer and a thin jacket over the top. He was wearing shorts and a short sleeved jersey. He is weird though.

Sounds like that jacket is a good choice for you then. I usually run warm so a long sleeve jersey for cooler days, Brevet windblock for 7-13 with baselayer or PTJ with no baselayer, and then PTJ with baselayers for sub-7 degrees usually

Can we please stop this nonsense talk of jerseys underneath jackets please.
-
• #35170
The new PTJ looks good in person, especially the purple.
I don’t recall my old one having taped seams? Anyone got one yet? -
• #35171
Don’t have much choice if the jacket doesn’t have pockets. I’m guessing this is the whole jersey vs jacket issue...!?
-
• #35172
Going commando? Nice.
-
• #35173
Pockets? Don't you know its illegal to use pockets nowadays? Handlebar bags are mandatory.
-
• #35174
Pockets are for shorts

2021 is all about nose bags. Just attach to helmet and you’re sorted.
I like the fit I’ve the black one already. I’d say it’s a close fit, I wear Large in all lines of Rapha stuff, I can get the PT insulated on comfortably underneath. I’m 6’3” and 76kg.
