Yeah, I got the Rightmove ping in my inbox hence the question – it's in our 'oh Jesus why isn't anything coming up let's look a little bit wider' radius, but without a local pub/much else I think it'll be too remote for us. We're going to have to compromise on something soon though, and proximity might be the ticket. Good tip about the bowler, I'll try and keep Rosie at a safe distance.
