Looking for some inspiration for a wood/multi fuel burner for the new house. Theres a chimney breast there but I don't really want it to look too old fashioned. Not really sure what I'm asking for but possibly something without any mantel?
Something like the below but with a ceramic patterned tile;

they emit PM2.5 no matter what says on the fuel .. "smokeless" or otherwise, almost as bad coming out as a Tory on the forum

Big fan of the Pawson, and I know it's not the point but I always wonder where he keeps his stuff.

It must be so relaxing to sit there with a glass of wine chatting to your loved one as your voices echo metallically off the bare surfaces.

Nonchalantly resting your elbow on the arm of the sofa as your cross your legs, only to crack your funny bone off the edge.

the wine glass that you have to hold all evening because there's no where to put it down, until you cave and put it on the pristine floor (iirc, poured by a Belgian shipped in especially, whose marriage was falling apart and the stress of which materialised in the floor as the work progressed) where an errant foot knocks it and it shatters.

...then before you kiss, you both struggle to get up and walk the 2m to the coffee table to put your glasses down only to realise the moment has gone and return to looking at your phones.
I find it comfortable (had one in old office) and if it's going to be in my house then the equation is comfort / aesthetic = best option
