  • I just don't have the old Pebble to switch in - clearly I've almost convinced myself into having a night watch and a day watch. Makes more sense than having a dress watch for the three times a year you wear a suit, right?

  • If you're on Android there should be settings which control brightness and colour temperature for time of day. You should also be able to set it up so you just wave at the phone and it displays the lock screen info - which can be time.

  • Watch off when I enter the house, I have clocks.

  • YOUR a clock

  • No your a clock!

  • Presume that's a trip to the store then they ship it off for adjustment?

I can live with it being out of whack after a night unworn, but I guess it's worth getting it sorted in case I want to sell it on.

More of a job for a watchmaker, I don't think Seiko would offer an adjustment service themselves except on GS where it would be done as standard.

  • Tuesday night is bed diving night now?

  • Wearing it to bed tonight. Mostly to check if it’s worth checking the news.

  • @Regal had a phone chat with a guy at an AD today and I'll go and have a look at some watches after lockdown (whenever that might be). He didn't seem to think the blue face OP I want would be too hard to get, just said come over, we'll see what we can do etc.
Then, we talked a bit about waiting lists etc. and he said wait lists for various Daytonas are 10-20 years.

    TEN TO TWENTY YEARS.

  • blue face OP

    Which one?

    Group buy? 😂

I want one but beast size

  • I think those waiting lists probably don’t really exist. Maybe in a handful of ADs.

  • Haha. I like this one (stolen pic):

  • I was chatting about this watch a while back, like this an the Polerouter. Kinda wish it was 36mm though.

  • Never wear a watch to bed as the first thing I do when I get up is either have a glass of water or go to the loo and this is were most watch fatalities seem to occur.

  • Bought myself a Tudor two days ago..

AD had both, Gilt and Navy blue on steel bracelet, both available (seems that usually they aren’t that easy to get)

Wasn’t sure wich one to take, so I’ve bought both, to give me more time to decide

Finally choose the blue, the guilt one is stunning too, but I’ve always loved issued Tudor and this Marine Nationale «clin d’oeil» got me. Plus I already own a black dive watch..

So if anyone want a brand new BB58 in black..

  • Guilt

    What’s that Dr Freud?

Lovely watch sir, so hard to fault

  • I got married last month and I always regretted letting that Speedy I bought from @panic go, so I decided to treat myself:

Feels so great having it back on my wrist.

  • Hahaha same here, never should have sold it, looking to get one again in January..

  • Nice! Congratulations :)

  • Ha, congrats. Matching the shirt and nato is strong game too.

  • Thank you! I'm super happy. I love my apple watch but I wouldn't have felt right getting married in it.

  • Lovely. I kind of miss mine, but in the long run, I didn't wear it enough.
