Now I'm in the camp of do I unpack everything or start the renovations already? Joy number one of living in an old property, lack of sockets. By lack I mean 1 double in each room, 2 if I'm lucky.

I went with option 1. Knew I'd change plans a bit and wanted to get a feel for the place first.

Does mean I've got just about nothing done in 2 months though. Apart from fixing the water pressure for the shower. But a proper shower is just about a prerequisite for getting anything else done.

Sort of where my brain is right now. I've been through plans for the rear of the house and changed them 3 or 4 times already so I'd like to live there and get a feel for what would work best first.
