two - one we use 95% of the time, which has the big telly in it (converted 'dining room' because who needs one of those) and this second one which would be the 'grown-ups' room I guess (if I had kids) so will likely just get kept good and used at christmas/for visiting dignitaries

the basement in our place is def one of its best features - even though it's dingy, dusty and slightly damp. just so nice having very secure bike storage like that
another DIY question relating to my painting - if trying to keep a section of raw plaster, is there any way we can seal/clearcoat it? just conscious it will be susceptible to scrapes, nicks etc. would be nice to retain the aesthetic but have some added practicality. not a big deal if this isn't possible - is only in the christmas living room
