This site is designed to be engaging by being the antithesis of all those dark patterns. It is what it is and there isn't an incentive for me to create any dark patterns as the financial basis for the site is donations... and it lives and dies by how valuable you feel it is.
That and the fact that I've made no changes in 6 years.
Elegantly put. @n3il does make a good point though, and like the saying says, correlation proves causation.
