Do you find it stable enough, if it's not attached to the wall in any way? I've read a few reviews and I'm sure I'm overthinking it, but I can just imagine it crashing down in the night!
I had the same concern, and it was unfounded. The base flares outwards away from the wall, as well as parallel to it. I always made sure I put the heavy bikes on the bottom just in case, but they never felt in any danger of falling over.
If I had children I might have second thoughts, but if nobody's going to be using them as impromptu gym equipment then they're very stable. I'd trust one of these over one of the straight pole things that press against the floor and the ceiling.
I've been weighing up one of these for a while.
