    The (unofficial) capacity is significantly larger isn't it? To the point you can get away with 11-40. Otherwise they're the functionally the same?

    No, the geometry is the same. Anything an R8000 can do an R7000 can do cheaper.

    For 8000 vs. 7000, yes. 6800 and 5800 are old school, the same as each other but different from modern RDs.
