Youngest kid has only just started walking so we are thinking to wait a bit longer as we ideally would like to go with adoption.

Have it adopted now so its new parents can get used to it and you can concentrate on the dog.

Ha! Rarely a day goes by I don't wish we could ditch the kids and just hang out with Odie all day instead :-D
