  • MAGATS will do this tomorrow to disrupt the voting.
They have done a couple of mass roadblocks in NY, one blocking a bridge with hundreds of cars.
These are the same assholes who think it's ok to run over BLM protesters in the streets.

Pretty obvious that supporting Trump at this point means being a self centred idiot.

  • Pretty obvious that supporting Trump at this point means being a self centred idiot.

It's a bit more than that. I would add racist / facist to the list. Denying someone their right to vote because they hold opposing views is should set the biggest of alarm bells ringing in any country.

  • Or not agreeing with the direction the hard left is taking?

Just calling half a country all self centred idiots is what the left leaving media has been doing for the last four years. What's the opportunity cost been for the last four years of all the media calling Trump a bad man?

Trump has been massively divisive but for me the derangement it's sent the media into for the last four years is pretty much as bad.

Lots of idiotic Trump supporters doesn't mean they are all idiots. There are lots of idiotic people cycling bikes round London but we hate it when people point at them and say 'bloody cyclists, they're all the same'.

  • The hard left? In the USA? Nah.

  • There isnt a hard left in America

  • damn you andyp

  • a lot of trump voters may not be idiots, but they sure as fuck are racists / comfortable with being surrounded by racists, so yeah - fuck 'em into the sea, one and all.

  • maybe the soft left?

  • Not sure if Trump Jnr crying on Fox News means thing are going well

  • THe last 4 years has not been kind to him.

Or perhaps more aptly, he has not been kind to humself for the last 4 years. I would be worried for his health, if his behaviour is anything to go by.

  • No big last min surprises yet, do you think the Boden laptop is all they actually have?

  • It's taken them four years to dig up dirt on Biden and all they've got, with 24 hours to go until the vote is a laptop that doesn't exist with alleged dirt on his son, who isn't involved in politics or the Whitehouse at all.

Either there’s nothing on Biden at all or they're going to drop something today / early tomorrow that's real/fake that will influence last-minute undecideds.

  • So, is it worth sitting up tomorrow night to watch things unfold - how quickly do they get results out?

  • US polls will close on the East coast at 7pm so midnight UK time. Projections will be made based on exit polls. Counting will take some time. Plus expect some legal challenges because of the asshole factor.

  • BBC coverage starts at 23.30 I think. Not sure there will be anything definitive until later. Probably better off waking up early?

  • It's too late isn't it? So many votes have already been cast. I think they're relying on miscounting, declaring early and frauding the results

  • Yeah, was thinking about going to bed early and starting to watch about 2-3am.

  • Plus expect some legal challenges because of the asshole factor.

    This.

No point in paying too much attention to election day results. It'll be the legal battles that will end up determining this (plus whatever Trump can get away with before they drag him out of the office).

Just look at the Texas judgement over the weekend; republicans trying to get 127k votes thrown out because drive-through voting is 'against the constitution'. Thankfully rejected by the (all republican) state supreme court but they're trying again through federal court this week.

  • Yeah - i struggle to see what they can do at this late stage but don't put anything past them. I imagine there will be a significant portion of undecideds still voting tomorrow as well as quite a few reluctant decideds who are moving from Republican to Democrat and are probably looking for excuses to move back.

  • There is a chance (and a fervent hope) that the on the day results will be so decisive that the inevitable asshole factor is minimised.

  • Fuck Greg Abbott. That smug fucker is going to get voted out - nothing like pissing off the largest city in Texas and the 4th largest city in the US. The Harris County Clerk is a fucking hero.

  • Asseholes gunna asshole....

  • This is unbelievably tense, I was feeling good about this up until the weekend and now not so much, this is going to be crazy.
