Trying to connect an Apple Superdrive to a MBP via a USB C hub with no joy.
Can anyone recommend an alternative adaptor that is known to work, a bit of research suggests some will and some won't.

Ive got that apple one in the picture, seems to do the task although the lack of actual ports now is a pain in the arse.
What vintage/model Superdrive is it? IIRC the one that you could get for the original MacBook Air would only work properly with certain non-standard USB ports. The newer one is meant to be more compatible.
