Yeah still too big for us right now unfortunately. Mini Schnauzer is about just the right size I reckon I'll see if I can find and try and convince my other half to get something bigger than a rat.

Are you really sure that your small flat isn't more accomodating to a larger dog?
Its the temperament of a dog rather than their size that tends to dictate whether they are suitable for small flats. Hence why Greyhounds are recommended as good flat dogs.
A 13kg whippet doesn't take up much more room than a large cushion!
