Now what about if I drilled the steerer for internal routing....

Said fork has a steerer drilled for internal routing. He also tried routing the front brake house into the fork blade but the bend was too tight and he couldn’t reach it with a drill (disappointed sigh from dentists around the world).

All of the above is 100% true.

Nothing wrong with that exact Hylix fork, but I have 2 remarks:

1. It has an integrated crown race. Combined with headsets like CK that leaves an awfully big gap between the fork crown and bottom bearing.
   
2. The fork crown is too small to route your front brake hose through the steerer and crown towards the calliper. So your front brake will have to go partly outside.

It's an Uno seatpost bought off eBay. But the original listing is gone, had the description "gobike88 UNO Light Weight Alloy 7075 Seatpost, 27.2 x 350mm, 255g, Black, F53" Cost me £44.
