Yes, I think that's right. Quite how they're going to manage that, God only know.

Any good options for a GRX810 1x compatible chainring? Ideally 38T

Cheapest I found when I looked a few months ago where these:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292260711003
I ordered a couple and the one I’m using has been great. Looks and weights the same as my old praxis works one but with no branding.
Took about a fortnight to arrive.

These side loader bottle cages have been great so far. Logo came off in seconds with a solvent. It was the only one on aliexpress that actually supplied a left and a right. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32813470937.html

Planetx got plastic ones for a fiver, which can be changed to either direction.

Is there a groundswell of interest for a Light Bicycle/Far Sports order in the next few months?
I’m going to give them a go. Only need two rims.

LightBicycle emailed me today - offered me a 10% discount ahead of Black Friday - it will go on the website soon. Probably diminishes the benefit of a group buy - unless they give you some double discount.

Grrr I placed an order yesterday, would have been nice to save a few wooden nickels...

Does anyone have actual experience with Hylix forks? Specifically disc brake ones
-
• #8638
Said fork has a steerer drilled for internal routing. He also tried routing the front brake house into the fork blade but the bend was too tight and he couldn’t reach it with a drill (disappointed sigh from dentists around the world).
-
• #8639
Ah I thought that was an Enve fork that got drilled
-
• #8640
Yeah, that too. I believe he’s also doing a Columbus Futura some time soon.

Nice!

All of the above is 100% true.
Nothing wrong with that exact Hylix fork, but I have 2 remarks:
- It has an integrated crown race. Combined with headsets like CK that leaves an awfully big gap between the fork crown and bottom bearing.
- The fork crown is too small to route your front brake hose through the steerer and crown towards the calliper. So your front brake will have to go partly outside.
The Hylix fork is on this build: https://lfgss.microcosm.app/api/v1/files/9a5c81eefd13548c2ba186e64a2a7410b7846191.jpeg

I am intrigued by your bike. Especially the somewhat taller headtube. It looks very good.
What is it? -
• #8644
Thanks! It's my own build, Columbus HSS tubing. I'm not taking any commissions (for the moment) unfortunately.

Wow! I'm impressed.
I knew you had some frame modification skills. I have seen here what you did with your Niner. But this is another level. Great, well done. -

Thanks again :)

What seatpost is this? I've been looking for something like this for ages (it's very slightly setback, right?).
-
• #8648
It's an Uno seatpost bought off eBay. But the original listing is gone, had the description "gobike88 UNO Light Weight Alloy 7075 Seatpost, 27.2 x 350mm, 255g, Black, F53" Cost me £44.

is this finished?
also anyone keen on group order?
But I think that unless there is a specific deal, the UK becomes outside EU VAT laws and EU companies won't have to charge UK customers the VAT on services. It'd be for the UK Govt to get it from the people who took the service assuming they can prove it was used.
That said, given how many tech companies are not based in the UK, I'd expect VAT on netflix, itunes etc would be a high priority part of negotiations.
