  • What I have been doing for the past six weeks is three sessions per week with a PT. I’ve got a further 12 weeks in the program, but C19 is going to punch a four week hole in that if (as believed) private gyms are included in the non-essential category. I know there is a degree of pressure to exempt them, but suspect that will come to nothing.

What I’d like therefore is to at least maintain what I have currently so that when (if?) we get out of lockdown in December I can pick up where I left off.

This last week we just started to see real gains (moved from the top rack of dumbbells to the bottom for e.g. and for the big pulls going some way over body weight), which I don’t want to lose.

  • What exercises and kit has your PT been using on you? Why not just buy those?

IE if you've been using a couple dumbbells, why not get those. If he's used some kettlebells, get those too. If it includes a bar and plates, pick some up.

You're not going to need ALL the weight ranges nor all the equipment. Just buy what he's made you do and repeat the exercises. No?
