Old stairs out. It's actually really hard getting them out, took over an hour.

I got mine about a week before completion (although I did have three weeks between exchange and completion).
I'd certainly expect it a few days in advance so you can check all the numbers are correct.

not my floors but these are the sample pics our sander gave us - which give enough of an idea how it comes up. we had floors done in our previous place and they came up overly orange with the stuff the previous sander used

I quite like the orangey ones to be honest - my dining room floor looked similar using just the satin Osmo Polyx - oil seems to bring out some natural colour in the floor.

Fingers crossed for you.
The lockdown is also expected to include restrictions on travel and is due to come into force on Thursday, lasting until 2 December, BBC political correspondent Nick Eardley said.

@cozey Dunno. Guess the detail will come out over the next few hours. This will be a wild situation for us as we are due to complete on 13th Nov then move in to temp. then move in to the new place a few weeks later. Ridiculously, it could actually do us a small favour if moving becomes verboten until Dec 2. Obvs our buyers will shit the bed but it would be interesting to see if they could try to claim costs for breach if we are legally forbidden to move.

The previous lockdown did still allow house moves and removal companies to operate. There was a specific carve out in the legislation.

I am conflicted!
Nah kidding. That's good news, presuming they do the same thing again.
You've convinced me.
It's a bit like when a mate was looking at the help to buy ISA and every new build had the grant priced in.
