Sad.
I hate crossing the South circular, it's so hostile to cyclists and pedestrians.

I just tried to look for updates, but there only seem to be the London News Online article and this one in the News Shopper (basically identical):
https://www.newsshopper.co.uk/news/18603543.lewisham-police-appeal-serious-collision-catford/
Fingers crossed for the victim.
For reference for searches, the collision location was the junction of Stanstead Road, Catford Road (both part of the A205 South Circular Road), and Catford Hill.

This is on my daily commute, it's not suitable for drivers, pedestrians or cyclists. Post lockdown traffic has been worse than ever.
I really hope the cyclist pulls through.

Quite a remarkable story, glad he pulled through. I remember running past the scene in July, still makes me shiver.

Heroic chap.
Heroic medical team mid Covid.
Hardly a mention of lorry involved
This happened last week. Rider in critical condition still. Happened yards from where Lukasz Binkowski was killed just a few months ago. Our thoughts and wishes for this latest casualty’s recovery, but all we have heard so far I’m so sorry to say doesn’t support that outcome. We are all thinking of the rider and their family at this point. I’ll post elsewhere on what action we (Lewisham Cyclists) are planning to take to get safety measures for vulnerable road users on this bit of road.
