Depends on how locked down the laptop is, the OS might auto install suitable software (though for the fancy Logitech customisation options, you need the software installed).
My wife was using a wireless logitech mouse and keyboard on her locked down work laptop.
Also looking for a wireless keyboard for my desk, looked at keychron, but the K4 doesn't seem to come in UK layout?
I'm very much missing my number pad on my Filco TKL ninja red MX at the moment. Will switch back to IBM model M until I find something perfect.

Shame about the laptop connectivity. Will a Logitech keyboard and unifying dongle work so that you don’t need Bluetooth?
