Literally. Tbh, while it is still hot as fuck in the San Gabriel Valley, the desert is just another kettle of fish.

I loved it when we were there last year - if I was 60 I could deffo spend a couple months a year there topping up the tan and drinking margs

I spent a 3 months in Palm Springs for work and loved the climate there. Wouldn’t think twice about moving there, less so in a house like that!
So much to do within a 3hr radius.

The whole of August was over 40° this year and most often at the 45° mark. And that was just August! 🤨

Couldn't live like that, glad to be in the north.

Has anyone any links to images of interesting window seat designs? We have a standard fairly large bay window with a nice view. Idea is to build something to provide an extra seat, maybe some storage and a place the kids can hop up and look out from. Something with a bit of colour in the shelves maybe would be cool

I live in year round 85%+ humidity and 32c (94% as we speak). A bit of dry heat and cooler nights right now would be a welcome change. Trust me.

For those pieces I would assume around 25% off list, and that’s even if they have them. Typically its soft pads, Ali group, Eames plastics and like in the sale. The real
Upholstered stuff is high ticket value and only in the sample sale if it’s a cancelled customer order, so rare.

One year I remember they did a Nelson Coconut for £99 which was the main draw. Last time I had a look there were no Eames Lounge + Ottomans...
