Really nice looking - a one piece body right? I didn't realise that (having looked that up is it the same as lacewood?) was local - assumed it was something exotic.

One-piece, yeah. For a tree that looks quite plain on the outside (maybe that’s just partly familiarity as they’re everywhere in London) they have quite unusual, warping grain.

Just watched this and now want to get one for the downstairs living room telly noodling porpoises.

Can anyone recommend me a looper pedal. I'm new to them so after the best mix of value, functionality and and ease of use.

Boss RC-1 is nice and easy. The more expensive ones get a lot more complicated quite quickly. Probably all you need unless you need more than the 12 minutes of recording time that it offers.

I've got a Boss RC-30, that I don't use often enough to have become really familiar with it. I sort of wish that I'd got a TC Electronics Ditto Looper instead for sheer simplicity.

Nicely comped. I'm sure I've said it before but top fireplace too.

I have an RC-3 on loan at the mo and don't like it. Maybe it's set up wrong but it seems to need cables inserting in a certain order on power-up to get the record/playback mode I need and even then it pisses me off. Tried the Jam Man Express ages ago and liked it but it's discontinued. Ditto seems to be the tip.

Yeah I think simple is the way to go. Ditto or RC1...

I've an RC-3 that I've barely used. The annoying thing about it is the double tap to stop recording.

I've also not figured out how to adjust the various track levels. Likely my failing rather than the device....It does pack a lot in a small box.
