Carerra Abyss in the 20" might be an option, I purchased a Saruna for my grandson and it's pretty decent as kids bikes go. Personally I think grip shift is easier than trigger shift for them at that age too.
Not mine but there's a couple of kids carerra bikes in Romford ending tomorrow on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Childrens-bikes/114478896754?hash=item1aa7795672:g:eqQAAOSwMdpfksPB with an Abyss and what looks like the smaller version of the Saruna. The 26" Saruna with triple chainset weighs 10.9kg incl pedals, bottle cage and bell so sub 10kg for the much smaller Abyss would be likely
Just a thought to give you options -

It's an orange bike with white bits. Like a zebra

😄
My daughter has outgrown her old Frog and needs a replacement. We tried a Frog 55 at Herne Hill and it is the perfect size. Looks like a Beinn 20 large would also be a good fit. On the off chance one of your kids has just outgrown one of these (or similar) we are looking. Condition doesn’t need to be perfect, a few scuffs / dirt / a bit of wear and tear is fine.
I’m London based, happy to collect.
Thanks!
