That’s true. However, I’d be conscious that I’m wearing a small car on my wrist. And I don’t want to wear a homage either. Well apart from my Seiko 62mas homage/reissue from... Seiko :-)

If you wanna be all techinical, the current submariner is a homage/reissues of the original!

It isn't really. The Submariner has never ceased production since it's introduction as far as I'm aware, so it's been a constantly evolving design. No recreation here.
