With brazing you are less likely to damage the thread or distort the shell. But I am going to TIG my MTB. Hoping to buy a pedal for my welder soon.

Pedal is a gamechanger, that and a nice torch were the biggest purchase driven improvements for me

I have the torch. But the pedal is £350. A bit steep for me right now. I had a pedal for our Miller at my previous work when I was in London. Total bliss
