Could you floor to ceiling tile the whole bathroom? Then you can just wipe down the tiles frequently?

I probably should have said its paint for the ceiling. The whole bathroom is floor to ceiling tiles.

There are extractors and extractors. Extraction volume in cubic metres per hour can vary as much as 5x between models. Installing a high end Airflow extractor made a huge difference at our place.

+1, fitting a more powerful extractor to our en-suite resolved the mould problem with no other changes.

I guess my main concern is that you're spending a lot of money in the hope that the company will still be around in 5 years time to still buy parts.

This morning I've shifted into a state of zen, after tenaciously pushing for completion this week it dawned on me... out of the EA, mortgage advisor, both solicitors and seller I'm the only one not getting paid. My new strategy is for those who are financially benefitting to do some work.

Yeah that was my concern, no point all parts being replaceable if they go down the swanny. And as they're cash negative rn it could happen if they're only selling a £700 hoover in the biggest recession ever...

I'm being a bit glib but essentially realised I can't do their job for them, despite chasing everyday for over a week with no progress. I'll likely muster up the enthusiasm to chase next week but both solicitors seem adamant they're waiting on each other. I understand where you are completely, its so frustrating at times, but it'll all be worth it!

Just bought the entire bathroom suite. It'll feel like a real milestone has been achieved once the central heating (next week) and bathroom (week after) goes in.
