Following Marcus Rashfords Twitter timeline helps. He has been steadily amplifying business stepping in to help. Not just the big ones. Lots of small local businesses too. Find one local to you, contact them directly. That's what I have done.

Also any you see posted on Instagram, Facebook etc, get it on Twitter with the #endchildpoverty tag and tag in Rashford and he will amplify the message. (Dunno if it helps actually getting the food to kids but it will certainly keep the issue in the forefront of people's minds and pressure on the gov to U-turn (again))
I'm sure we've all seen free school meals in the news a lot recently. For those unaware schools provide free lunches to kids who's parents may not be able to afford to, e.g. they're on jobseeker's allowance. With Covid and lockdowns not only have a lot of kids had to be at home in term time but also a lot of parents are struggling even more than normal and so there has been a campaign led by Marcus Rashford to provide free lunches for kids during the school holidays too.
The govt did provide more money in June to cover the meals through the summer but with the extension of the Covid lockdowns, another half term and Christmas coming up, they're dragging their heels about extending the free meals again.

What can we do to help?
There's a petition

Some local businesses are stepping in

But my question is what can I, a 9-5 office worker, do to help?
Charities I can find are
https://fareshare.org.uk/activeate/

https://www.magicbreakfast.com/
But I'll happily donate money directly to a business that's providing free meals for kids, so if anyone knows where help is needed, please say.
