Without the weird geometry and lack of provision.
I´m interested, what about the Steamroller geo you find weird?
The numbers seem fairly similar to my untrained eye. The higher BB location looks like a plus for the Allday.Don’t forget front and rear rack mount too, and cable guide for rear
brakes, oh and chain tensioner, as well as the option to run canti
bosses or long drop callipers.I do agree the Allday do have some nice additions compared to the Surly.

Geometry on larger sizes get a very slack seat tube which is very weird, it also extremely long and low, relatively speaking.
I got the 59cm one before and it was great, but the slack seat tube, long reach (408mm from memory) as well as the lack of provision didn’t help, might as well get a lightweight track bike that have an equally lack of provision (Seta) minus tyres clearance.
I do like the lower BB of the Steamroller, make it nicer on daily ride.
