Did you run straight for the ship near the water plant to get the bobblehead to minmax your stats though?
-
• #23728
then rotate south to get the deathclaw gauntlet blue print so you can be a melee god
-
• #23729
then do Operation Anchorage for early Power Armour

Tell me more...
I remember on my first play through picking some perk which gave more XP, enabling me to level up faster. I decided that was bad as when I reached max XP I almost immediately lost interest in the game.

I vaguely remember some quarry filled with Deathclaws. That was fun. Looking forward to finding that again.

I never played any of the add ons. I need to investigate this. Not sure if they're available in the Play Store. Or what my password or email is, so that might be a fun hour or so...
-
• #23733
oh yeah, forgot it was DLC, I think I played the GOTY edition with all the add-ons thrown in.
-
• #23734
I just looked and there doesn't seem to be anything Fallout 3 related on the Playstation Store, so would need to get the GOTY edition too. May well do that.

This was also in new vegas!

I can make off the top of the head strat recommendations for every other Bethesda RPG since and including morrowind, like above, but FO3, and especially New Vegas, never stuck with me in quite the same manner. Shame PSNow is so shit else I'd do NV again.

• #23737
Its on xbox game pass - might work on PC for you too if thats an option?
-
• #23738
But yeah writing about it above has me wanting to play it again at some point.
Although I'm playing my way through Far Cry 5 at the moment and rather enjoying it!
-
• #23739
Ah - I think it's actually in NV and not FO3! Will have to replay NV too. All this should keep me going for about a year I reckon.
-
• #23740
I'm playing Far Cry 5 as well. Quite good fun but I'm not sure how much longevity it'll have, it's all a bit mindless and repetitive.
-
• #23741
weird - also just redid Far Cry 5 to 100%. Felt much easier the second time around interestingly. Tempted by New Dawn even though it was poorly reviewed.
No Xbox/PC sadly.

Thats exactly how I was finding it too. I do tend to find that Ubisoft games have this nature of all being the same with slightly different skins.
Saying that so long as I'm following the story this is quite fun.
-
• #23743
This week's Ubisoft game has a London skin, which I think is the only reason I'm interested.
Then there's the Viking one next month.

Ordered myself a Retroid Pocket 2 https://www.goretroid.com/products/retroid-pocket-2-handheld-retro-gaming-system
Reviews seem pretty positive for the price and I'm harbouring hopes that with the HDMI out and SD slot I'll also be able to use it for watching films and stuff whilst travelling (if that ever happens again) using Plex.

I was about to say - Watch Dogs looks worth it just for the fun of video game London alone.
-
• #23746
I really enjoyed Watch Dogs 2 so I'll get this new London one at some point, not at launch though cos games are so expensive now.
-
• #23747
Destruction Allstars has moved from a launch day release at £70 to a PS+ title in Feb which I'm really happy about. It looks great fun but I wouldn't pay that much for it and also I would worry about a big enough player base at that price.

second attempt at getting on with watchdogs... i just can't.
i fucking hate the driving bits.

• #23749
hope we get some HD remasters of dead space next generation

I've been dreaming of this as a Switch port
Just came here to say I dug out my PS3 and started a new game of Fallout 3 yesterday. Every inch as much fun and complete and utter absorption as I remember it being all the way back in 2008.
As then, I’m inclined to build the sneak/guns stats and creep around sniping enemies in VATS. Nothing beats it.
I had the day off yesterday so I could get lost in it for a good 4+ hours. Now I need to factor in time to keep this going. Probably some late nights ahead...
