Also, don't shops buy chains in bobins?

We have the option to buy Sram on a spool, it’s cheaper for some reason to buy a big box of loose precut chains.

And quicker to do service, not much time taken to break the chain to correct length but it does add up.

And we can make Christmas stars out of the cut off bits that we sell at the front counter for beer money.
