    Buying a few beds and wardrobes and the like has left me with enough cardboard that it will take about a month to get rid of it in the recycling bin and they don't collect stuff that you just leave out.

    Is there an allotment local to you? I use big sheets of wet cardboard as weed suppressant. Someone may take them all off your hands.

  • I doubt very much that the recycling collection will refuse anything. I'd just put it all out front and see what happens. Councils want to recycle more and I'm sure that trickles down to the operatives.
