That reminds me, my bank rang me the other day to confirm a direct transfer I'd asked for. They asked me what the payment was for, and seemed quite surprised when I said it was none of their fucking business. In fact it was for landscape gardening (boring middle-aged fucker) not coke and midgets, but either way I couldn't really see why it was any business of theirs.

I've similar questions to this a few times at the bank, the only appropriate answer is down the back of the sofa, underneath the mattress, drug dealing or the magic money tree

I've had the same thing and worked them over until they tell me what the transaction details are and then I actually had a chance at recalling which coke and midget emporium I was in on that day.

I think covid has made them much shitter.
They also text you from random mobile numbers and ask you to confirm your security details and don't understand why that's an issue.
