Is there a better option for shimano style hubs that that little plastic bracket? Ideal something that won't let the wires be pulled through if I forget to unclip it before releasing the wheel.
It's a fairly benign failure mode. The alternatives are breaking the cables or having the weight of your dynamo front wheel suspended by some rather fragile cables. I think it's worth considering what the better alternative would be in the event that you do forget.
