Excuse my ignorance but why do they need more rinsing? I rinse my filters a bit before using but I was never really sure what I was supposedly achieving.
Edit: googled it. I'm probably not rinsing mine enough it seems. But I'm also not using the greatest coffee at the moment. Need some cash to get another YB order in. Local faire is dirt in comparison!

Removing the paper taste, it's definitely more noticeable with unbleached ones but if you want an example try putting a dry filter paper on your tongue to see how it tastes. I'm using some big size 4 unbleached ones and they smell like that loosely compressed recycled card they had in school art departments
Can't speak for the V60 ones, but the unbleached Chemex filters need much more rinsing than the bleached ones. Felt they probably weren't actually better considering the additional amount of hot water needed to rinse them.
