Aren't we all for employee's rights and the right to work in a safe environment?
Mid teen degrees, and slightly damp? Hardly life-threatening, unless World Tour riders really are water-soluble. Half of the riders were wearing shorts. Not exactly extreme conditions. There are plenty of days when I really CBA to do my job, but I just do it anyway. I suspect the weather I rode through today was far worse than anything the Giro would've faced.
Of course if the CPA was genuinely representing the riders rather than just being a sock puppet for the UCI then a more constructive dialogue might be possible.
