You'll be getting a 170mm version with a 62°, yes?
-
• #278
Yes. Perfect bike for Swinley.

Could you get a Manitou Mezzer for it, and leave the steerer uncut?
You know, just in case ;-)

Might not need the 45° stem then 😉

I'm underforking it to 100mm for that sweet 85 degree seat tube angle. The 45° stem stays.

That made me feel young again.
Jokes aside I just want a stache with ~65° HA and 500mm reach. Will have to settle for Slack-r and 70mm stem. -

Have you ever had a bike fit?
-
• #285
Yes. They told me to always use 70mm stems.

No matter what?

I had a road bike fit few years ago. It doesn't transalte very well to MTB. More so that I'm fatter, unfit, and my mobility needs few more months of work.
Slack-r on the Stache is going to shorten the reach by ~20mm that's why it'll need a longer stem.
The main reason for getting a new frame from EU is brexit. They'll become more expensive next year. No one is making 29+ long, low, slack frames in UK, and going custom is way too much hassle. -

You had a road bike?

A road bike with a 70mm stem?
-
• #291
Yes still have nightmares about riding it.

And 45 degree rise.

I don't expect this trend to change. No one is going to cater to 1% of the population. 70mm riser bars it is for me.
