I may be putting my 56cm genesis equilibrium with 105 5600 10 speed for sale. A mate is coming to look at it first..

Ooh, please keep me updated - my mate is actually going to see a 58 but he's probably on the edge of 56/58, let me know if you you move to sell!

Hi,
I've got a 55cm Condor Heritage which is surplus to requirements. I've had it from new (2010) and it's had very light use so is in great nick. Canti brakes and 10 speed Campag triple crankset must be bang on trend by now. Drop me a message if of any interest.
Cheers.

Should know by this weekend, just finishing re-cabling it and fitting new Lugano tanwall tyres

Hello mate, thanks for getting in touch - probably a bit small I think, my mate's 6"1 so 55 might be a squeeze - but I'll let you know if other options fall through and he's interested!
Cheers

Nice! Let me know if you're looking to sell, would love to see pics and know what you want for it...
Cheers

No worries at all. Agree that a 55cm is probably on the small side for someone 6'1. Hope your mate finds something cool.

Thanks mate - is your friend not taking it then?
-
• #11
He hasn't confirmed yet, but thought I would let you see it, with price etc to see if you were interested..

OK cheers! Looks lovely and that is a fantastically competitive price - it will be snapped up if you decide to move it on here... my mate has bought another genesis advertised on here but on the understanding he can return it if the size doesn't quite work out, so I'll come back to you asap if he is still looking but feel free to move it on in the interim if you decide to sell.
Thanks

Reanimating this thread as I've just had lunch with another mate, 6 foot, who is in the market for a decent standard touring-ish bike. Genesis/equivalent would be the sort of thing - anyone have anything they're looking to shift? Cheers

Might be good as it has plenty of options for touring (racks, fork, 3rd bottle cage).
Le me know how it sounds.

I have a Large Genesis Day One 8 speed ( this years ) - does he need more gears ?
-
• #16
Thanks mate - was actually looking at this for myself but it's not quite what I'm after. Doesn't quite work for my mate either who's after a full bike and it's possibly slightly too small as well. GLWS - lovely frame that!

Ooh - possible - what price are you looking for and do you have pics? Cheers
-
• #18
No worries :)

I've changed it a touch - put a TRP HY/RD on the front for better braking - a B17 with a Carradice Barley for luggage.
I do have photos give me an hour or two.
Would be 620 with the extras, less without.Snag is I'm in Gloucester - we could sort something out I'm sure though.

Please do send pics and let me know the price without the extras please! Cheers

Thanks mate, I'll speak to him! May be a bit too pricey for him but it's a lovely bike...

Yep, not quite what he's after but thanks for sending.
Any other 55-57cm steel touring-ish bikes kicking around waiting to be bought I'd love to see them?

Anyone got anything else they're looking to move on?

Hello - asking on behalf of a mate who wants to get into the touring/bike-packing game. Not after a full-on heavyweight (Thorn etc), but some nice steel with necessary mounts (thinking Genesis, Condor, Fairlight etc) - budget dependent on bike but not looking for vintage and minimum Tiagra level groupset as an idea of benchmark.
Cheers!
