But you can do 11-40 with the Rx derailleur?
-
• #7778
Yes. I have it running.
Shimano say no but it works.Rd 815
Also with road r8050 md cage. Both rated for 34t max. -

Quick question:
Are bits from Shimano 105 5800 compatible with bits from R7000?
Specifically the shifters from R7000 with the FD and RD from 5800?Cheers : )

Remco seems to be testing wireless Di2

Interesting. Would be good to upgrade my old Tarmac with wireless but unless the battery life and performance is similar to the wired stuff, it's only really useful for Generation ipad that are scared of plugging stuff in.

Generic comment about "I will wait till its trickled down to Ultegra" etc.

I will wait until the Buyers™ throw all their 'useless' 11spd Di2 on ebay.

About fucking time. What’s taken them so long?
They’d better ensure it’s properly tested before release too. SRAM set the bar very high with etap.

Unlike SRAM, Shimano are pretty good at that. Maybe they finally realised with ETAP that product recalls do not a confident buying public make?

Yeah, if it's 30mm axle, it's basically what I run (3D+ cranks). Look for "BSA30".

I wore out loads of Rotor bearings (and posh aftermarket bearings) and now use: https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Wheels-Manufacturing/BSA-30-Bottom-Bracket-Steel-Bearings/EQ65

Excellent, thanks. I'll double check with the seller but I'm pretty sure it's 30mm.
Might have to get a pair! -
• #7797
Is this basically a better version of the Rotor BB that does the same thing?
-
• #7798
Is that dark curved line not a RD wire? Or is it the chain casting a shadow on the cassette?
Although the image is too blurry to really tell, I feel like I don't count 12 sprockets on the cassette.

As a nice bonus the bearings in the Wheels Manufacturing BB’s are replaceable making long term ownership very economical

I don't know if it's better but I seemed to kill bearings fast in my Rotor BB cups. I was riding across 2 continents a year at the time though...
