It may not matter, as on paper Kelderman is a better tester than Tao--37 seconds ahead on Stage 14. As Andy says, you do get unusual performances in TTs that matter so much. Let's hope that perhaps Tao already manages to make a difference on the mountain stage.

He was the slowest of all of Ineos in the first TT, so looks like he was either taking it easy, or got severely wind disrupted.

Interestingly, Hindley beat Kelderman in the first TT.
