  • Just a warning, I'm sill not completely sure whether I really want to sell this so I may change my mind. The reason I'm considering it is the fact that the city I live in now really isn't suitable for a fixed gear bike.

    Specs:
Peugeot track frame, columbus tubing (possibly from 1983, rare)
Soma Lugged Track forks (1" threadless, Tange infinity tubing)
Ritchey WCS Logic 1" ahead headset
    1" threadless KCNC stem, 110mm (I think)
H+SON Archetype wheels w/ Formula Hubs, 16t cog
    Miche Primato Advanced chainset (48t)
    Miche Team 107mm BB
    Izumi Track chain
Fyxation slim pedals with Restrap straps
Bars are some flat 38cm ones from BLB
Kalloy Uno seatpost and random plastic saddle called VD Grids apparently

Let me know if I am way off, but I am thinking 650€ for the whole bike with shipping included, this is taking into account all that I've spent on it and the fact that shipping to the UK is going to be quite expensive (bike is in Portugal)

Due to the cost of shipping it's probably not worth it to split it either, so I'm looking to sell the entire bike for now.

  • Oh and forgot to mention the seatpost binder looks kind of fucked but it's only looks, the threads are fine and the bolt holds perfectly. I haven't got a proper bolt so I just put a random M5 (?) bolt I had at the time.

  • Absolutely gorgeous

  • Maybe you consider putting a flip-flop hub on - free wheel and switch to fixy when you're in the right neighborhood?
    lovely wheels

  • Already looks pretty fixyee to me

  • beauty

  • Very Interested In frame and fork if you split. Did you get it off @IndieStu?

ehh, too much work and still not the appropriate choice. I live in a hilly cobblestoned city centre (the city centre IS the top of the hill too) with zero bicycle infrastructure and at this point I might as well get gears and wider tyres. This served me well when I lived in Lisbon though, much better infrastructure and not as hilly.

I'll let you know if I end up splitting but it's unlikely ;)

I didn't get it from him, I actually asked him about it at the time! I bought it from a German seller on ebay just a few days after seeing IndieStu post his same track Peugeot on reddit. It turns out it wasn't him and they're two different frames :)
Besides mine and his, from a few google searches at the time, I found an American collector with another one of these frames and someone in Australia using one as well.

  • See classified rules. You’re either selling or you’re not.

  • Sorry, I am selling, just stated that I may change my mind. Changing my mind implies that I've already taken a position...

  • Hmm. Never sell a bike unless you’re sure. You’ll miss it. ; )

  • Very interested in wheelset if splitting?

  • Interested in the crankset/pedals/straps and fork (if you'd sell that seperately) if you're splitting!
Dibs on those just in case
