    Yes, but that's going to be because there's an ongoing annual vaccination programme for influenza in the UK. There's no equivalent vaccination programme for malaria in the UK.

    Sure it doesn't cover everyone in the UK but if you wanted to make things equal and you stopped the UK influenza vaccination programme then a LOT more people in the UK would die from influenza compared to malaria.
