MGOOF : Modern groupset on old frame

Anybody got some pics of grey/silver 105 r7000 on old, partly chromed steel frames?
thinking of going the MGOOF route but not sure if the grey r7000 will clash with chrome seat-/chainstays .

Not sure if this belongs here, early 00s frame with chorus 11 speed and mavic rims. Need to swap rear derailleur as that is an older 10 speed model at the moment

hardly any period-correct zero setback stems out there i guess
(Luckily sourced a controltech for my caad but ive only seen it once)

It has been slightly updated in the meantime with gold chain (!) and 12-30 cassette as well as Ultegra 6700 stis which look a lot less bulky

Stem is a cr-mo sameness stem, which was used on some caads as stock equipment

Lookin' good! Some of the nicer CAAD 3 and 4 did come equipped with Thomson Elite, so you're not painting too much outside the lines.

Need to shorten chain and cables and sort out the saddle but mostly done. Concorde Prelude bought from @Mechy , spares bin ultegra and pretty worn DTSwiss wheels.

Those ergo drops aren't designed for a flat transition to the tops like you have mounted them though. (/pedant)
