I've gone down a rabbit hole of vo2 training threads on the TR forum and related blogs from coaches, getting sold and convinced around the whole "hard start" 30/15s sessions for when the time comes.
Did you do Rattlesnake for example?
Not done that particular one but it looks good. Flying 30s and Tabatta intervals are part of Matt Clinton’s HC training plan, and he knows his onions.
